We will visit the facades and squares of the Cathedral: Praterías, with styles ranging from Romanesque to Baroque, Obradoiro with the façades of Pazo de Raxoi, the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos as well as the Romanesque Palacio de Gelmírez and the Cathedral, work of Casa and Novoa.

From the Quintana we will see the Berenguela, a famous baroque clock tower and the access to the Holy Door that will be reopened in 2021 for the Jubilee. The Plaza de la Inmaculada will show us the imposing façade of the San Martín Pinario Monastery. To finish, we will visit the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, with its chapel and courtyards of the 16th century

Among the streets, the Rúa del Vilar with the Casa del Deán and its shops, the courtyard of the 16th century of the Colegio de Fonseca (University) in Calle del Franco, also known for its wide gastronomic offer, the Rúa de Acibechería, step forced for the pilgrims who come from the Caminos de Norte, the active Plaza de Cervantes, with its street stalls and antiquities market on Saturdays. The Plaza de Abastos is not far away, an excellent opportunity to get to know the delicious Galician gastronomy.

VIP Gastronomic Experience

The tour commences by taking a walk through the historic center of Compostela to visit the squares surrounding the Cathedral (Obradoiro, Azabachería, Quintana, Platerías, Fonseca, Toural, Cervantes …). Visual outer walks of the religious buildings (Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, Monasterio de San Martiño Pinario, Convent of San Paio de Antealtares, Chapel of the Corticela …), the museums (Museum of the Pilgrimages, House of the Cabildo, Eugenio Granell Museum …), the streets (Ruas do Franco, do Vilar, da Raíña, do Preguntoiro … ) and other monuments.

Our first stop will be a break to have a drink and a tapa of a typical culinary product of our city and so recharge batteries and continue with our guided tour.

We resume the tour but this time leaving behind the historic center towards what is the city outside the rampart of the old town where there is also a lot of history, as the old historic town also grew outside the wall and keeps much tradition in Compostela.

The last part of the tour, in form of food, takes us to the gastronomic experience. Different dishes, desserts and drinks from the Galician gastronomy (seafood, fish, meat, wine …). Outstanding products both in quality and flavor. A guided tour to remember!

The Market of Supplies of Santiago de Compostela: An icon of the tradition and the Galician gastronomy.

CÓRDOBA MONUMENTS AND TAPAS

You will walk around the streets of Cordoba accompanied by a historian and enjoying its history and monuments. Lose yourself with us in the irregular layout of the streets of the Jewish Quarter, where we pay special attention to the Synagogue, the Local Souk and the Monument to Musa ibn Maymun (Maimonides). Later, we will visit the Chapel of San Bartolomé (St. Bartholomew), an authentic jewel of Mudejar art, inspired by Al-Andalus. The next appointment will be in the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs, a fortress that served as living place of the Christian Monarchs, Isabel and Fernando, for more than eight years. After a short rest, the Mosque-Cathedral, the most important monument of our city. At the end we will invite you to a typical tapa and a beer.

Bilbao, a perfect mix of culture and gastronomy. A personal visit with a private guide will take us into the already majestic work of Frank Gehry to admire his private and temporary collections of contemporary art. But Bilbao also hides two other passions that the Basques cultivate: gastronomy and friendship. Cultivating them at the same time. We will be able to verify it when we enter with our guide, in the largest covered market in Europe, that of La Rivera, where we can choose any food to taste there in one of the gastrobars. PINTXOS ROUTE

San Sebastián

Together with our private guide, street expert of flavors and aromas, knowledgeable and known in all the bars, we will jump from bar to bar tasting all the pintxos that are within our reach, while we join the party in which one is always invited. It is a gastronomic route, where each bar has its original pintxos just repeating some, like the Gilda, which can never be missed. We will continue though the old town of Donosti, where the fishermen used to stop, after their work, before going home. You have to take the afternoon with time, because it usually lasts until very late if there is thirst, appetite or desire to have fun.

WHITE VILLAGES

The rivers that descend through the south face of Sierra Nevada form beautiful landscapes of inclined slopes, that the white towns that inhabit it, scale, conforming their personality of narrow streets and steep stairs. Its most recent history is characterized by the departure of the Moors, who left many of their traditions and customs, as well as terraced cultivation, with ingenious irrigation systems, whose architecture lasts until today.

In our visit with driver and private guide, we can get into this wonderful landscape and its villages, such as Pampaneira, perhaps the most picturesque, where in some of its craft shops are woven the rustic carpets of La Alpujarra. A highly recommended stop will be the village of Trévelez, where we will see an authentic ham dryer, which of course we will try, paired with some of the wines of the area.

We will have lunch, in one of our selected restaurants, to taste the specialties of the area: The varied Alpujarreño dish, the musts and the sweets. After lunch we can visit a chocolate factory and return back to Granada.
