After the recent declaration of the Festival of the Patios as “Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO, there has been an increase of public interest in this festival. From ArtenCórdoba we consider that the popular courtyard from Córdoba is not about a May flower; therefore we try to highlight it throughout the whole year, and as long as they are available, they will be ready for those who want to visit them and understand their idiosyncrasy. WHITE VILLAGES

The rivers that descend through the south face of Sierra Nevada form beautiful landscapes of inclined slopes, that the white towns that inhabit it, scale, conforming their personality of narrow streets and steep stairs. Its most recent history is characterized by the departure of the Moors, who left many of their traditions and customs, as well as terraced cultivation, with ingenious irrigation systems, whose architecture lasts until today.

In our visit with driver and private guide, we can get into this wonderful landscape and its villages, such as Pampaneira, perhaps the most picturesque, where in some of its craft shops are woven the rustic carpets of La Alpujarra. A highly recommended stop will be the village of Trévelez, where we will see an authentic ham dryer, which of course we will try, paired with some of the wines of the area.

We will have lunch, in one of our selected restaurants, to taste the specialties of the area: The varied Alpujarreño dish, the musts and the sweets. After lunch we can visit a chocolate factory and return back to Granada.

In the mulberry forests of the Alpujarras, the worms responsible for producing the coveted silk were woven, woven by the skillful hands of the Muslim artisans, which were then marketed in the European kingdoms through the ports of Genoa and Venice. Show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”

In the first row, not to lose detail, we will witness a true ballet starring Andalusian horses, following the orders of their riders and teachers. To the sound of Spanish music, with 18th century costumes, we can admire the cowboy dressage that makes quick changes of direction, because it is the one indicated for the handling of the bulls. Also the classic dressage, characterized for its fantasy and for being more traditional. Also with the rider on the ground, the horse follows the indications, doing exercises full of beauty. It culminates with a carriage ride and its handling. Today an art, yesterday a necessity.
As a complement, we will see, with our private guide, the museum of the art of horse riding and hitch, from its origins to the present. The communication between horse and man is a relationship that goes back thousands of years, this exhibition shows to what extent the attraction of one for the other is a reality.

Without waiting for queues, we will make a guided tour of the stadium, including its museum, the pitch, the equipment benches, the stands, the visiting team’s locker room, the changing room tunnel, the press room, etc. and the space Messi, the star of the club.

“Flamenco de Ley”

The Flamenco De Ley is a living legend that claims in this show the memories, the life, the feelings and persecutions of a People, a unique way of being flamenco: The Immemorial Gitanism through the artistic language of each one of the components of the show.

His own rebellion, without words … stripped of arguments. Improvisation is the artistic language of the KELIPÉ Company. Without neglecting the technical execution and evoking the FESTEROS cantes, like the Jerez bulería in all its essence or the gyrations of the SOLEA and what screams loudly in the cante and in the dance, the show becomes “chameleonic”, It transforms and varies on the stage as it progresses.

This multifaceted variety of possibilities to execute the sticks is what makes the KELIPÉ Company unique. The target audience is all those fans, whether they understand this Art or not, who want to have a close experience of what it is like to be and feel the Flamenco Gypsy. Anyone who is capable of feeling and being moved will not be impassive in front of the company’s show KELIPÉ.

The air, the sun and the salt in the dance and the gypsy cante, of Susana “LA YEDRA”, the racial voice of Antonio “El Taranto”, the mastery of the guitar of “El Indio”, and the pure and old touch of the “Azukita” guitar, shows us the “most flamenco face of Flamenco”, in a show where the heart has “reasons” that “the reason” does not understand.
